The man heard a soft crunch as his boot stepped onto the soft dirt. When he moved his boot, he saw the little guy writhing in the boot print. The giant picked him up, dirt and all, but it was too late. The little guy was crushed.Related content

I know it is sad and terrible, but it is thought-provoking.
He could have just continued on walking without another thought.
But he didn't and even plucked up the little guy to see what happened.
Those are the reasons that I admire this piece.
