My entry for the Coloring Contest at
So, this is the finished version after and . No need to mention it took me AGESQ__Q I am really, REALLY lucky the contest had its deadline extended in one more day
on dear;_; Well, at least is here.;w;It was really hard to color everything (the detailing on this is INSANE) so I abused textures. 50+ layers. 'nough said.
But it was fun at the same time, I learned a lot coloring it, and now I understand Sai and even Photoshop a lot better. I tried a lot of different brushes and coloring techniques and such. It was fun~

It looks like you spent quite a bit of time, I have to say. o.O
I like how the wings are in bolder colours whilst the background is in paler shades, like.. I do feel it's a bit too much and yet it also feels... It fits, in a sense.
I think it's awesome how you've colour co-ordinated it, anyway. There's a good amount of depth there. My favourite colours are the blue... and I think it's quite cool how there are some places that sparkle a bit more.

Beautiful use of textures and stock! Is that an old paper texture used in the clock? Looks brill. Really love the use of textures in the clock work to the left - looks ethereal, like it's a night sky. As if time encompasses everything. Probably looking too far into it - but it looks great nonetheless! The soft background is lovely - the whole scene looks floating! The way you coloured her wings and her clothes is still totally fab - and I wouldn't be jealous of her wardrobe if it was just black! Your love of colour makes my day far, far, far brighter! You get a cookie
