Not only is this visually stunning and detailed, but the symbolism is great. What I get from it is that because religion is so focused on what happens after death, religious followers are obsessed with, or bound, to death. They even sharpen death's sickle through constant conflict and "holy wars" with other religious followers, not even realizing that they're all after the same thing: the promise that death brings.
