I think it would sound closer to the source material if she said 'He made me more than I was'. Β I think the 'way' sounds out of place there.

After Season 5 ends (don't want it to, but it will eventually), they should make a Spin-Off/Sequel series with Ashi carrying Jack's legacy.
Aku maybe defeated, but there is still evil in the world, and it needs a Samurai to protect it.

or possibly at the end of the series Ashi and Jack get married as a happy couple and have children after Aku is gone and as a spin off series about Ashi where she goes on adventures with her husband Jack and children.
