Description
The game was really challenging but also really fun. The story was straight forward but still enjoyable, and the game does a great job of telling it's lore through exploration, with each area having it's own history to tell, for those willing to look for it.

My only complaint about the game was the EMMI robots. They were built up as these scary machines that could one shot you if they catches you. But for me they were only a source of annoying frustration... which admittedly made it more satisfying to destroy them.

Other than that, the game was hard but fun. Introducing new awesome enemies and also bringing back some old ones that I feel really needed a come back, like Kraid, who I still want a first person battle with in Prime. But his part in this game was still cool, and the fight against him did no disappoint me. And the new villain, Raven Beak gave of a Darth Vader vibe for me, he was an awesome villain with a really interesting connection to Samus.

All in all, I give this game a 8.5/10. It wasn't perfect, but I am still very happy with it being my first Metroid Game.
