Here is another Empyre of Doom collage showcasing two Kree Elite classes for a new enemy faction called the Banished, which will appear after the Battle for Earth. The two classes shown are the standard trooper on the top left and the special ops trooper on the bottom right, which are equipped with plasma-based wrist blasters, Kree Carbine Rifles, red plasma swords, and red wrist-mounted energy shields. I based my original artwork after my friend OtherArtworks posted these awesome pics of "Yunerian Soldiers" on Instagram and I modified them with Sketchbook(The regular soldier not the spec ops one). These guys also remind me of Deadshot from Injustice 2 a bit with their armor designs and wrist guns.Now about the Banished. The Banished are a violent mercenary group that broke off from the Kree/Skrull/Chitauri Empire after the Empire lost the Battle for Earth to Doctor Doom's newly formed Eternal Empire. Led by the cruel and relentless Kree Accuser Tanalth the Pursuer, the Banished mainly lay siege to the universe by conducting guerilla strikes on enemy supply depots and ships while also having their warriors prove their worth in battle with various enemies, including remnants of the old KCS Empire. The reason that the Banished have a vendetta against the KCS Empire is because the accused the Empire's leaders, Ronan the Accuser and Kl'rt the Super Skrull of bringing them to ruin. The empire has also modified several existing KCS weapons, vehicles, and warships to match their grittier, more violent aesthetic.
The ranks of the Kree Elites within the Banished are:
Minors wears fully green armor and are the most common and least experienced Kree Elites, Minor class Elites are still extremely skilled warriors. They possess shields that are weaker than a Kree Major's. Along with Kree Elite Majors, they often lead squads of Skrull Grunts into battle. They wield Plasma Pistols, Manglers, Maulers, Disruptor Pistols, Plasma Rifles, Spike Rifles, Needle Rifles, Pulse Carbines, Shock Rifles, Builder Sentinel Beams, Plasma Repeaters, Kree Carbines, and Needlers.
Majors wear white/red armor and wield Plasma Rifles, Pulse Carbines, Shock Rifles, Builder Sentinel Beams, Needle Rifles, Plasma Repeaters, Kree Carbines, Plasma Casters, Plasma Launchers, Concussion Rifles, Ravagers, and Needlers. Overall, they are more agile, more accurate and more aggressive than minor-class Kree and rarely make tactical mistakes in combat. A single Kree Major can hold its own against an entire squad of GAD Clone/Doom Troopers. They can be seen leading Skrull Grunts and Kree Elite Minors into battle.
Spec Ops Commandos wear black commando armor, active camouflage, and use Energy Swords, Manglers, Maulers, Needlers, Plasma Rifles, Pulse Carbines, Plasma Repeaters, Needle Rifles, Kree Carbines, Stalker Rifles, Shock Rifles, Skewers, Beam Rifles, and Focus Rifles. Special Operations Kree are extremely skilled fighters, sent in by the Imperium to accomplish the most dangerous and difficult of missions(Assassination, hostage rescue, and sabotage). They have superior accuracy, fire in longer bursts and have slightly stronger shielding than regular Kree Elites. Most notably, Spec Ops Kree operate in squads, are extremely skilled and are accurate grenade throwers. They are equipped with an active camouflage system, but rarely use it, except to get into position without being noticed though they have also been known to sometimes operate similarly to GAD Shadow Troopers and Assassins, all of whom use camo during battle. They can be seen leading Special Operation Skrull Grunts into battle.
Ranger Commandos wear white commando armor, jetpacks, and use Needlers, Plasma Rifles, Pulse Carbines, Builder Sentinel Beams, Builder Heatwaves, Plasma Repeaters, Needle Rifles, Kree Carbines, Concussion Rifles, Plasma Casters, Ravagers, Skrull Brute Shots, Plasma Launchers, Builder Cindershots, and Fuel Rod Guns. The Ranger class is a rank given to Kree trained to work in the least forgiving environment of all: vacuum environments. Their helmets completely encase their heads, protecting them from the vacuum of space. They wear a variant of Kree combat armor optimized for zero-gravity, non-atmosphere combat. They can pose a substantial threat, due to their unique movement options in space and on the ground. There are also variants that use their equipment to give them a tactical advantage planet side, flying above and shooting from the air, confusing and demoralizing the enemy, similar to Chitauri Drones, but with more firepower and fewer numbers. They are often the security of a KCS Carrier in space.
Ultras wield Plasma Rifles, Plasma Repeaters, Pulse Carbines, Needle Rifles, Stalker Rifles, Shock Rifles, Kree Carbines, Plasma Casters, Builder Heatwaves Concussion Rifles, Ravagers, Builder Cindershots, Plasma Launchers, Skrull Brute Shots, Fuel Rod Guns, Skewers, and Energy Swords. These ruthless commanders can lead various individual operations, and are identified with predominantly white armor.
The Banished Kree Honor Guard, alongside the Skrull Brute Honor Guard mainly serve as the personal guards of the Banished's highest ranking officers and leaders alongside their Skrull counterparts, especially Warmistress Tanalth the Pursuer. They are primarily divided into the standard red honor guards and the white-armored honor guard ultras. However some Kree Elites and Skrull Brutes decline being an honor guard so that they can still serve in the frontlines of war. The preferred weapons of the Kree Honor Guard are Plasma Rifles, Pulse Carbines, Plasma Repeaters, Kree Carbines, Stalker Rifles, Builder Sentinel Beams, Builder Heatwaves, Needle Rifles, Plasma Grenades, Energy Swords, and three-pronged Energy Pikes.
Generals wear white/yellow armor and wield Plasma Cannons, Stalker Rifles, Ravagers, Shock Rifles, Builder Heatwaves, Builder Cindershots, Needle Rifles, Kree Carbines, Concussion Rifles, Plasma Launchers, Plasma Casters, Skrull Brute Shots, Fuel Rod Guns, Plasma Cannons, Flak Cannons, Skewers, and Energy Swords. The highest-ranking military rank for the Kree employed by the Imperium among their groundside forces, this rank is capable of leading entire armadas on the ground and even as shipmasters in the KCS fleet.
Zealots/Fleet masters/Field masters/Shipmasters wear white/orange armor and wield Plasma Cannons, Needle Rifles, Stalker Rifles, Shock Rifles, Builder Heatwaves, Kree Carbines, Fuel Rod Guns, Ravagers, Plasma Casters, Concussion Rifles, Plasma Launchers, Plasma Cannons, Flak Cannons, Builder Cindershots, Skewers, and Energy Swords. Zealots serve as the admirals and generals of the Imperium's military; Commanders of Battalions, Ships and Fleets. Field Masters lead armies; Ship Masters command ships; Fleet Masters command armadas. The word "Zealot" seems to be a general term, applying to all high ranking Kree below Kree Imperial Admiral(The head of the KCS Navy) and Kree High Councilors(High council members alongside KCS Elders and Skrull Alpha Chieftains. They wear Kree Ultra armor with a special councilor helmet). It is also possible that each rank has sub-ranks as well, since the rank of Zealot Field Marshal exists, though this is most likely superior to a "standard" Zealot.
Field Marshals/Supreme Commanders wear white/purple armor and also use Plasma Cannons, Needle Rifles, Shock Rifles, Stalker Rifles, Kree Carbines, Skrull Brute Shots, Ravagers, Concussion Rifles, Plasma Casters, Fuel Rod Guns, Plasma Launchers, Plasma Cannons, Flak Cannons, Builder Cindershots, Skewers, and Energy Swords. The Field Marshal rank falls under the Zealot-class, but they outrank regular Zealots. Besides leading large-scale ground operations, Field Marshals are known to lead small strike teams composed of Zealot officers carefully ordained for high-risk operations similar to Spec Ops Kree.
