Description
Fyodor Basmanov was one of Ivan’s elite Oprichniki and a supposed lover to Ivan the Terrible. He was described as a beautiful man, effeminate, but a warrior and eager to do Ivan’s bidding. Little is known about this man, except that he was responsible for Ivan’s holdings and well being, such as checking the Tsar’s food for poison.
