Description This is a vector done completely in illustrator from start to finish. We had to draw a cartoon character using the tools of the program without tracing. I started out with basic shapes and added anchor points to stretch and skew the shapes into the drawing you see. I really like the end result.

Aww, I remember this cartoon! I like how you didn't use any strokes or gradients on her, and how she's all curved lines...those can be such a pain to get right in vector illustrations, even when you can trace! >.<

I'm in a vector class, but we use Freehand MX instead of Illustrator...do you know of any big differences between the programs? My prof hates it for some reason.
