#148 of Hanna Is Not A Boy's Name!Tch, Tibenoch, don't be such a dick.
I'm so happy to actually be updating fairly regularly now. It's like all summer I had this huge burp and I couldn't get it out and now I feel quite a bit better. I admit the more simplified coloring in Tibenoch's house has allowed me to go through these at a much faster pace, which then begs a question in my own mind of whether or not I am going to go back to 'full blown coloring' once the scene changes. We'll have to see! I'll probably do something in between something very simplistic and what I was doing towards the end of Ch2. I'll just have to experiment!

I really like how deeply Hanna seems to care about his friends (even though he hasn't known (...) for that long). He seems like a really gentle, a little silly person, but whoah can he get mad.

I think we're on the verge of something, and I don't know what. I thought - even from the last page - that there was going to be a confrontation between Ples's... er... 'powers' (which would be his alternate personality) and the group's powers, including Hanna's magic and Zombie's badass-ness. Ples's personality contributed to that. The kind of suave villain attitude that lets you find dark humor in the middle of a fight, that makes you think things are going smoothly for someone. But now... something's wrong. Instead of that moment where you're tiptoeing up to the edge and looking down and joyfully anticipating that brief moment of flight, suddenly you're stumbling backward and the step you thought was solid is not and you're still going to fall but you're not sure at all where you're going to land.
Going along with that, Zombie's pose and the perspective in panel 1 is really powerful. It makes him seem unsure and awkward, and since he's usually been as tall as or taller than most of the people in the comic, seeing him from above implies that he is not so strong and steady as he appears. The tilt also contributes to the unsteadiness. And let me just say it was so painful to look at that silhouette in panel 4 - as if Zombie was a broken doll, helpless and defeated.
Thank you, Hanna. But I'm scared for whatever's going to happen next.

That first panel with Dots is really powerful. Something about the forced downward perspective and the slight grimace, it manages to give an impression of misery to a man whose actual emotive capabilities are very muted. Anyway, uh- what I mean is, BRAVO! <3

I have to confess, I had some extra time yesterday and re-read through the entire comic again. Your style and coloring and everything has changed so much more, for the better. And I actually love how slowly the comic moves, it makes it seem more real and it's not all in your face.
