Full view helps.I whipped this up tonight because I'm crazy and I felt like doing something drastically different. Usually I draw one character (two characters maximum) so I thought I'd try my hand at a picture that had tons of characters. Plus, I never really ever draw fanart for FVII (which I LOOOVE).
I based the drawing off of the original FVII drawings, not Advent Children, which should be obvious. Hope you enjoy!
PS: Cid Highwind is a fucking STUD. DO NOT DISAGREE WITH ME. O:<

I have to agree with an earlier commenter--you've really breathed some new life into characters who are often overdrawn into whocaresland. I love your rendition of them! I can't decide what side I like better, the goodies or baddies, they're both so fantastic! Absolutely fantastic idea with the hot and cold colors--I wish my brain contained such creativity XD

Little known fact: In KH2 his voice is actually Texan. MUTHERFUCKING TEXAN. Thus it wins. More than any Southern accent.

Haha, thanks for the correction. I'm from Massachusetts, so any south-of-new-jersey accent sounds like a foreign language ("Who are these people and what are these 'r's they keep using?!" XD )

S'cool. I getcha. I just love "collecting" accents and their nuances. Being from Texas, I can tell the difference between Southern and Texan. (And we don't consider ourselves from the South, we're just plain Texan.) Too many voice actors have only one accent that designates "not from the North." Makes me crazy. Especially made me crazy when the translators claimed Osaka's accent (from Azumanga Daioh) would roughly be translated into a Houston accent (around where I'm from). Was it a Houston accent? Of course not. Just Southern.
But yeah. Cid is a cowboy. HOT.

Haha, I hear ya. When actors try to do Massachusetts accents in movies, 99.9% of the time, it's just PAINFUL. Besides, different towns and cities in MA have their own individual accents...haha, it's crazy. Accents and regional dialects are so much fun

And I have no idea why Cid had a southern accent in KHII but not KHI or why he had a southern accent at ALL. I certainly never imagined him with one...
