Description
For a project I'm doing with a friend of mine, Rachel.It's hard to explain but basically it's about the old legend that if you put someone to rest the ghost of the person would be so grateful that they would protect you afterwards.
Playing off this idea, we created people and their protector ghosts. Well, I've always had Brad, but anyways. It's just for fun.
From left to right - Bradley Traux, Pence, Isaac, and Gabby. Pence died setting down the railroads back when America was just colonizing and Gabby accidentally 'commited suicide' when she fell asleep smoking a cigarette. Isaac and Gabby are not mine, they are Rachel's. D:
Hope you enjoy! Illustrator is God.

that's a cool idea for a story premise .
just how much of the lineart are you doing in illustrator? Brian Denham works that way, and though it looks cool, I can't imagine how it pays off in a work load/results sort of way..

Pretty much all the ink work. I draw it on regular paper then scan it in. Actually, I ink faster in Illustrator than I do anywhere else. @_@; ;
And thank you!

no kidding?
I tried taking a wacom tablet to illustrator once, but the result is totally not what i was expecting. That was a few years ago, so maybe they got more compatible?
Personally, I try to do as much possible outside of the computer as I can. having the ability to do stuff over always slows me down .. that and I just don't have the hand eye coordination or patience to ink with the wacom. maybe if I get my hands on one of those tablet PCs someday...
Go and check out [link] sometime if you haven't. I think he's gone totally over to illustrator, too. You folks are nuts I tells ya! XD

Wow that's crazy! His stuff is crazy good!
Hahahaa, Illustrator has gotten more compatible, and it took me a while to get used to it. It takes a while on top of that to figure out how to beat out of it what you want from it, but once you do, it's a pretty easy system that gets you good results in my humble opinion. X3
