Reminds me of one of the circles of hell that Dante wrote about. The suicides were bound to tree and were ripped apart for all eternity for committing suicide. Putting the pig face on it, it almost feels like an image that speaks against the rampant obesity-that were just killing ourselves... Well, that what it made me think of anyway...
No matter what the true meaning or interpretation, it's a great piece and very interesting.
