The models are quite nice, but the skins could use some work. You should try out bump maps, if you can.

Ohh...*drools* Another one that looks really cool! Not that they all don't look really cool but this one is again, mysterious but yet again not. I think it's the background being the sky. That's what makes it so myseterious. I really like the marble effect you gave it. It makes it look so much more realistic and chess like. I really dig the shadowing on the white pieces. Especially the rook on the left. So nice! Hooray for chess! keep up the nice work!
