Description Hello there,
You're standing up and over
On the edge of insanity,
Waiting for an end to vanity,
They always seem to go there,
Giving none and taking plenty,
Stand there watching 'til you're twenty,
When you've earned a pretty penny,

Yeah,
It's just this fucked-up tyrannical system,
That mourns the dead but doesn't really miss 'em,
Wish that I could put a tiny little blip of
Bliss into your dreary day, and I,
I'm so tired of false cheer concealing gloom,
Like how the paint on house walls strips away the room,
Why does it feel like we're all marching towards our doom
With nothing we can do to stop it?

Hello there,
You're thinking, "You don't know what it's like for me,
Alone in the silence, never finding peace,
In some private hell where you can't break free,"
But that is where you're wrong, see,
Because I've been there before,
In that blank space with no exit door,
I'll tell you now,
Fighting hardly seems beneficial anymore,
For the faceless monster from the sea
Is none other than modern society,

And why,
Why does it feel like our pleas for help just die?
Just turn to mindless noise against the darkened sky?
Hardly feels worth making another try,
Wish I could go away now
And find,
Find some new place at the very back of my mind
Where I can leave all my worries and troubles behind,
No one seems anymore like they'd really mind
If I just disappeared tomorrow,

Hello there,
Wouldn't it be great to create some grand new place?
To make things so nobody's ever forced to save face?
Sure would like to see this heaven upon the earth,
But it's all, sadly, just imaginary,
Have to return to reality,
We're gone.
