The warm summer sun blazes bright over the gleaming green lake,
Casting kaleidoscope colors on the water's reflective surface.
Blazing brights dance in sensuous rhythm,
A light show for all to enjoy.
Bright, radiant reds and oranges,
Vibrant yellows, humble blues,
Trade blows atop the living mural,
Melting together to form one unique, breathtaking masterpiece
As the mighty light dips deeper into the horizon.
And as night falls on the green lake,
The immense silver moon casts its reflection into the midst,
Lending its light to the blackened sky
And keeping the magic alive
Until the day returns
To begin painting anew.
