I know what it says.
I'm the one who put it there.
Untitled.
Perhaps the best title of them all,
for that which lacks a proper name
is hard to judge, no?

It's more difficult to pick on & bully someone
when you have no way to call their attention.
It's hard to break one's spirit
when you can't find a way
to make them recognize your antagonization.
Strange, is it not?

That is why it is my desire to be nameless.
To be untitled.
The bittersweet satisfaction of anonymity is what I crave,
yet without some way for people to address you,
to recognize you,
it is that much harder for them to recognize your work when they see it.
Curious, isn't it?

So if doing away with all forms of addressment
is the solution to verbal torment,
what would we do when the time came
for you to receive the credit you deserve?
That is a puzzle, I fear, that the human mind will never be able to decipher.
And that, dear readers,
is why I chose for this work to be untitled.
