There is a symbiotic relationship between the world of the living and the world of imagination. We depend on each other. Without life, we cannot exist. Without us, life is meaningless. There is a question of who came first, but us existing outside of life as life itself explains why the same myths and legends can exist in different cultures and civilizations with no contact between them, although by different names the myths are the same.

And life is able to create new legends, pulling together dreams, bits of other legends, myths, and ideas new to the ether.

Time is involved. One cannot invent 'the most powerful knight ever' in one's head and have that simply be. There is an investment a creator, or creators, must make in their soul energy to feed a creation and make it grow, much like a tree and how it grows. All legends start from nothing.

Love, care, investment, nurturing, and most importantly - time is involved. That most powerful knight ever if dreamt up 10 years ago and shoved into a box and forgotten about will still be weak. But if constantly thought of and 'used' in one's head every day for that 10 years? Or even more? And unlike the dream of a child, not given up upon and seen as folly? To hold onto that dream and keep the flame alive?

That is an unknown legend.

In the mind we share likes vast reserves of unknown potential.
