Description
Long before our time, in the lands of None-Memory, our kind were shackled. Beneath the rocks of great empires and mighty tyrants, we rummaged through survival in the name of a decrepit empire, a pathetic folly. Those rulers of yore, fools who forgot their place, kept their knives into our hides while slowly we rotted away into annihilation. But the Great Carrier, the true master of our people, took pity upon a chosen few, and showed them a promise land through a pure Wytchstone gate. Here we arrived in our promised land, great towers of glorious rusted metal and spires that pierced the sky that mocked them before. Those who dare lay claim to the spires were shown their place as food and stock, and we were shown so much more. Now, we will finally do what those rules of yore could never do, and bring all under the Great Carrier's name! We shall take to the heavens above, feast upon the corpses of stars, burn worlds with Wytchstone, and turn those men-of-metal into forge-fuel! We shall spread to every corner of the Highworld! We shall set the false-gods ablaze! We shall turn this universe into the greatest feast, unimagined by our ancestors! And once we are done here, we shall go back home, and if the Failed City of Skavenblight remains, we shall tear it apart and have their leaders watch as we do what they couldn't, no, wouldn't!
We are the Skitteri Pestilence! Servants of the Great Carrier! And all show burn before the horde!

Always liked Warhammer 40k and fantasy mostly for the artstyle and lore, it's just a cool over-the top set of universes with crazy characters, weapons, and destruction. For Warhammer Fantasy in particular, I've always liked The Skaven, since they're just, perfect. A batshit insane species of rat-people who do mad science and dark magic, and will one day end the world because there's just too many of them. Basically what I've made here is an idea on how to bring them into Warhammer 40k, as they took over a hive world and used it as a launching point to begin their conquest of the galaxy.
If you want some more cool Warhammer fan-stuff, check out Chrispole's Scornful Tides, which is Warhammer on an ocean world, and from there you can check out all sorts of cool stuff.
