Description
One could say that Tall Tale had not welcomed the occupiers with open hooves. Ever since the city had been absorbed into changeling occupied territories by its vast war machine, resistance had been heavier than nearly everyone had anticipated. Ordinary ponies, unwilling to give up the fight after such a brief siege, took up arms against the occupiers infesting the city. As soon as her father was gone, rumours saying he was snatched by the Bugs in the night, she took his old rifle in a hope to help the growing resistance movement within the city. It had been just her luck this day, as a lone changeling grunt was walking around the deserted streets of the city. Unbeknownst to him, she was waiting, ready to fire. Her hooves were shaking from fear - if she missed, she would almost certainly die moments later - she could afford to waste her life like that, not when there were so many more bugs to be ridden of. With a deep breath, and a quick murmur of faith towards the princesses, she pulled the trigger.
