A legendary Blade known as the Aegis, Pyra wields the power of fire. When Rex finds her core during a salvaging mission, Pyra awakens and bonds her soul to his to save Rex from death. Kind-hearted and strong-willed, Pyra vows to protect Rex in the same way he swore to protect her as her Driver. Pyra is a split personality of Mythra, who awakens after a near-death experience and eventually learns to work with Rex and swap between Pyra at will. Eventually, Rex's willpower and drive to protect the both of them lead to them gaining their own separate bodies.
