He had been alone for decades, ever since he took refuge in the rainforest. He didn't know if anyone still remembered him, or if there was anyone who still cared. The only thing keeping him alive was the hope of finding an answer in the hyperlink, a virtual reality network that contained all of humanity's knowledge and memories.

What would that be? What secrets would you keep? He was determined to find out, even if it was the last thing he did. But to do that, he needed the giant antenna that was in the center of the forest, the only way to connect to the hyperlink without being detected. It was an immense structure, full of cables and antennas, which emitted a red beam into the sky. But he knew that it was more than a simple antenna, it was a door to an unknown world.
