The only thing that kept him going was his curiosity about the monolith he had seen on the horizon.

It was a gigantic structure, black and smooth, which contrasted with the white and irregular landscape. It looked like a work of an advanced civilization, but also of immeasurable antiquity. What would that be? What secrets would you keep? He was determined to find out, even if it was the last thing he did.
