oo! I love the purple glow from calcifer and how it radiates light onto howlmeister.
The lineart and cging is awesome. The only thing that kinda bothers me is the grass; it seems too thinly dispersed because I can see the smooth border of the hill, which should be covered.

I like the way the eyes and the bg contrast... It POPS! I like the pose and the expression too. Is her right arm a teeny bit longer? I'm not sure... That arm just seems a little awkward to me.
Anyhow... cool way to color the background.. With individual, visible strokes. Really awesome. And the grass... It's like chocolate bananas: really cooool. xD
