Dusk had tried to seek out Thatcher and Roxie, to celebrate pride together(and perhaps drop into the party if they felt up to it). However, seeing them both spending time with their partners, Dusk kept glitch's distance. I mean, interrupting their dates would be rude, wouldn't it? And what was glitch supposed to do, pull them away from the people they're happy with, demand they spend time with glitch instead? What kind of sibling would Dusk be then...

The large version of Dusk is simply to showcase glitch's lonely feelings, the feelins glitch's dealin with being ""monsterous"" to glitch. It is not somethin Dusk sees or can interact with, jus a fun visual.
