Description

So, I was bored, and trying to think of animal characters to hypnotize, and stumbled across this gif from TheLovelySlumber. I have to admit, I’ve never seen Redwall, or read the books. I skimmed a bit of the first book and saw a bit of an early episode, but that’s about it; really need to change that sometime. From what I understand, they’re both quite good, and full of adorable animals like Chickenhound here. He’s a greedy, cowardly sociopath, and only got worse when he went off the deep end later on…. But he’s also a very cute little fox, and I have to wonder how things would have gone if he’d encountered a different hypnotic snake than he did in canon. I think this is the first pic of him entranced other than that gif, and I really hope it’s not the last. The Internet could always use more hypnotized foxes~

Chickenhound staggered out of the no-longer-secret tunnel, exhausted but triumphant. “They’ll never catch me now,” he laughed. “I made it!”

The fox staggered to a nearby tree and laid back against it, hands behind his head as he tried to catch his breath. Those stupid idiots at Redwall had been so busy dealing with his mother, they hadn’t even noticed him hiding until it was too late to stop him from running. The old fool was probably dead now…

…Oh, who cared? She’d had the bright idea of giving him a name like Chickenhound, anyways. And now there was one less person he had to share the loot with!

Well, the loot he’d get next con or theft. He’d had to leave everything they’d taken when he made his escape. Still, he could already see it; himself, the leader of a gang of foxes, taking anything they wanted and smashing anything they didn’t. He’d have given himself a new name by then, something better fitting his infamy, like Foxprince, or Mousemurder, or… something like Slayer, maybe? He’d figure it out later; right now, all he wanted to do was rest…

Chickenhound was about to nod off when a rustling sound caught his attention. There was no way he’d been followed here; he would have noticed if someone was in the tunnel with him, and picking now to chase him made no sense. Still, what was that?

“Hello?” he called out nervously, peering out from behind a root. “I-Is someone there?”

…No one was there. Maybe he was just imagining-

“Hello there~”

Chickenhound whirled around, yelping as he came face to face with a massive snake. The fox jumped back in a panic, hit the root, and fell over it head-first.

“Careful now,” the snake smiled, catching him with a coil. “We wouldn’t want you hurting yoursssself, now would we?”

The fox frantically looked around for an escape route, only to find himself surrounded by coils on all sides. “P-Please, sir, I-I wouldn’t be a good meal, I’m so small, and you’re s-s-so big! P-Plus, I just got out of a tunnel, and I’m probably covered in dirt and grime, and – I can get you a better meal! Lots of them, Mr. Asmodeus, sir!”

“I’m afraid you’ve got the wrong ssssnake,” the serpent chuckled. “Though the offer is csssertaintly intriguing. I’m Kaa. What’sss your name?”

“C-Chickenhound,” the kit stammered, making sure to avoid Kaa’s gaze; everyone knew the warnings, never look a snake in the eye if you didn’t want to end up marching down its throat. “T-There’s a commune n-n-nearby – Redwall Abbey. There’s more beasts th-than I c-c-can count; far more filling than one little fox could ever be! I can tell you how to sneak in, in exchange for my safety.”

“You’ve got yourssself a deal,” Kaa smirked. “Now, how would I get in?”

“That tunnel I mentioned; it’s only a few feet from here, and it would definitely let someone sneak in!” Chickenhound grinned. “You should hurry, though; who knows when they’ll find it and start filling it in?”

“And thissss would fit me?” Kaa asked, raising an eyeridge. “Sssomehow, I doubt whoever dug that tunnel did it with a ssssnake in mind.”

“It should! It’s a very large tunnel; no one would want to get stuck underground, after all,” the kit chuckled. All he needed was to get Kaa (or at least his head) in the tunnel, and he could make a run for it. And if he actually managed to get in and start swallowing the stupid idiots, he could sneak back in and grab anything he could sell!

“Excsssellent,” the snake smiled. “You have my thankssss. You’re a very thoughtful foxsss, giving me a way to eat and take whatever catches my eye in there.”

Chickenhound nearly dropped his grin at that last part. He was hoping Kaa would only be interested in food…  “You’re welcome, sir! A snake as impressive as you should always get what he wants!”

“That’sssss good,” Kaa smirked. “Becaussssse what I want… issss you.”

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Before Chickenhound could react, the snake lunged, and the young fox found himself staring into the prettiest colors he’d ever seen. The rainbow rings reminded him of jewels, shiny and valuable, but these were much more enticing, every shift and sparkle demanding his attention. He knew he needed to shut his eyes, to run as far as he could from the snake before he ended up as food, but somehow, he couldn’t seem to tear his eyes away; the blues, yellows, and greens were captivating as they swirled about, drawing his eyes deeper and deeper. Despite his fear, the fox found himself leaning closer, his fears and worries fading as a warm, fuzzy feeling spread through his body. Thought after thought slipped away into a soothing sea of spirals, every ring leaving him tingling with pleasure.

A smile spread across the fox’s face as the snake began to bob his head, Chickenhound helplessly following the colors. Kaa swayed back and forth, and the kit swayed alongside him. A bit of guidance from Kaa’s tail, and Chickenhound was swinging his hips without a care, his tongue lolling from his open mouth. The snake beckoned him closer, and with a silly grin and wagging tail, the fox walked towards him. He barely noticed as he scaled a stairway of coils; all there was, all that mattered, was the colors and the snake that could give him them.

Chickenhound mindlessly marched across the snake’s body, his swirling eyes never leaving Kaa’s. The snake went low, and Chickenhound dropped to all fours, his tail swishing in the air above him. Kaa stopped him in his tracks with a boop to the nose, the kit’s eyes crossing to look at it. A scaly tail went down the front of the fox’s shirt and gave him a brief belly rub as it slowly rose up his body. Chickenhound shivered blissfully as he rose to his feet, panting as the tail scratched his chin. Kaa coiled his arms, and soon enough, the two were dancing together, stumbling and swaying across the snake’s body. The snake took him into a dip, head supported by coils, and gave him a kiss on the forehead, Chickenhound giggling happily in response.

Kaa’s body sloped into a scaly slide, and Chickenhound slid down into a comfortable bed of coils. The snake’s tail went down his shirt once more, and Chickenhound panted with pleasure as the belly rub resumed. The coils shifted, and the fox was soon wrapped up to his shoulders. Strokes and squeezes had him moaning in delight, his tail flailing about behind him as the snake’s wrapped around to give him a scratch behind the ears. Eyes swirling with color, coils cuddling him from all over, ears twitching, a bit of drool slipping from his mouth as he panted and moaned up a storm; Chickenhound was in heaven, and he never wanted it to end.

The snake began to speak, every syllable slipping into and settling in the fox’s empty head. “You’ve been a good foxssssy, Chickenhound. Ssssso eager to help, to ssstare into the sssspiralsss, to pleassse me in any way… ssssuch a clever foxssssy. Sssso clever, that you know you can trussst in me, my cute little kit… and sssincssse you trussst in me, you trussst in my dessscisssionsss assss well. You trusssst me to think for you, to take up the burden of choisssce and free will for you. You can’t imagine dissssobeying – and why would you? Obediencsssse bringssss ssssuch pleassssure… Food, protection, converssssation, play – you’ll provide it all and more with a ssssmile. You’ll be my cherisssshed pet, sweet, playful, and affectionate, and I’ll be your beloved Masssster.”

Eyes spiraling, tail wagging a mile a minute, tongue lolling, Chickenhound had never nodded faster. “I’m a good foxy! I want to help and make Master happy! Who cares about free will; I only need to obey! I’m sweet, playful, and affectionate, and I love you, Master! I want to be your pet!”

A tug on the neck, and with a PING and a howl of delight, Chickenhound broke out into the biggest, goofiest grin of his life.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

“Sssso, how much of what you told me is true, my pet?” Kaa asked, stroking the fox’s head with his tail. “Is the tunnel really ssssecret and usssable? No lying to Masssster, now~”

““It’s not a secret at all; they’d found it by the time I used it to run,” Chickenhound cheerfully admitted, leaning into the touch. “I’ve no idea if you’d fit through, Master, but don’t worry! I’ll find you another way in, so you can feast to your heart’s content!”

“That’sssss a good foxssssy~” Kaa cooed, Chickenhound beaming at his master’s praise. “Alwayssss be ssssure to clear your planssss with me, firsssst, though. I wouldn’t want you getting hurt any more than you’d want to sssee me get hurt… and you’d never want that, would you?”

Chickenhound gasped in horror. “Never, Master! I’m a good foxy, and a good foxy makes his master happy!”

“Awww, how sssssweet!” Kaa chuckled as he nuzzled the kit. “I love you, my pet.”

The fox happily nuzzled him back, blushing as his tail wagged behind him. “I love you, too Master! I’ll be the best pet you’ve ever had! …Wait, have there been others?”

“Oh, quite a few,” Kaa smiled, eyes spiraling once more. “All of them cherisssshed and ssssspesssscial in their own right… including you, my little foxssss. No need to be jealoussss, Masssster doessssn’t play favoritess. In fact, the idea of playmatessss makesss you happy, esssspessscially ssssinsssce having more petsss pleasssesss Massster…”

Chickenhound broke into a goofy grin, panting happily as he replied. “Of course! I’ll help you hypnotize and toy with anyone you want!”

“Excsssellent,” Kaa smirked. “Now, doessss Chickenhound want a belly rub, for being ssssuch a good foxsssy?”

“Yes! Yes I do!” the kit yipped, practically throwing himself back against the coils. The snake’s tail slipped down his shirt, and Chickenhound practically melted under his master’s touch, moaning happily as the scales slipped through his fur. The little kit looked up at him with adoring, swirling eyes, and Kaa couldn’t help but chuckle. Chickenhound was a cute one; far too much to eat, even if he had been bigger. Instead, his days would be spent in utter love and devotion to his master, a smiling, spiral-eyed, and snuggly sweetheart of a servant. He’d do anything, bring him anything or anyone to make him happy; and he was so enthusiastic about it, too! And in return, he’d get all the coils, colors, love and care he could ever ask for.

They were going to have so much fun together.
