Wow, he's awesome.
I love the shading, not to mention the Savannah grass must have took ages to perfect.
I also love how the sky is slightly curved, making it feel like your looking up to see him bounding through the tall grass.
Great work! Helifax sounds like my cat, smart when it comes to food, lazy just about all other times.

Well, actually grass took me about 2 hours, but I'm not satisfied with how it came out. Yet, it's nice to know it still looks ok

Y'know, I'm going to have to disagree about the grass.
(Brilliant, telling the artist they're wrong, I'm a loon 
I find it fitting. A lot of artists say "I'm not happy with this or that..." simply because they have something else more detailed (or cartoonish) in mind.
Viewers may not completely agree.
The grass suits the atmosphere perfectly, I think any more detail and it wouldn't have fit the cartoon feeling, too little detail and it would've suited The Simpsons; which is just flat grass.
All cartoonists have to have their own style, from nature, to characters, to universe.
I find this picture, the background included, to be right where it needs to be.
I'm still certain that the only reason cats want in and out (if you have an indoor & outdoor cat) is because the other side of the door is beautiful.
Like "the grass is greener on the other side."
