This is one of my favorite deviations of all time. I love books and I love how people like you can understand that books are more than just bound sheets of paper. When you pick up a book, you hold something that thousands of others held and you are connected to each and every one of them. When you read a book, you are giving yourself over to something infinetly bigger than yourself and in doing so, you connect your soul to every other person who has read that same story throughout history. Imagine being connected to someone just like you who lived alongside Shakespeare or Julius Caesar? Can you imagine that? It is pretty powerful and one of the most beautiful things I can imagine. I hope I am not alone in my feelings.

This is one of my favorite deviations of all time. I love books and I love how people like you understand that books are more than just bound sheets of paper. They are alive. Each time someone picks up a book, they pick up the imprint of everyone who has read it before them. And each time they read a story, they become connected to everyone who has ever read it. When you think about it, that is pretty powerful. You are reading words that people a hundred years before you read and you are touched by them in the same way. Imagine that; being connected to someone from the time of Shakespeare or Ancient Greece? Can you imagine that? It is one of the most beautiful things that I personally can envision and I hope that I am not alone in that.
