From long time ago, the celestial beings had always been looking after Valhalla under the command of Mercedes. Out of them, the dragons are the largest force and also the most honourable mortals ever born. They fight in honour, and protect it till the very end, never to give up. During the betrayal of the Ancient Ones, the dragons risked their all to protect their creator, Mercedes. However, their power was overwhelmed by the almighty gods, and as the result, the entire race went near extinction and disappeared from the surface of Valhalla.

Years later, when peace was returned to the land by the Seven Deadly Sins, the whole world was living in joy. However, evil has never been gone. There are those who wished to destroy the beautiful new world of Valhalla. Seeing that, the dragons finally decided to step back into the light to protect what they once failed to do so. The once formidable race of all beings, now reduced to numbered, facing crisis on their protector role. It was then that the blessing has found its way to the fallen honourable race. The birth of a dragon child who bear the power on pair with the ancient thunder god, the tremendous blue lightning. Wielding the lightning in the shape of spear, the child becomes the hope of this celestial race, carrying out the judgement to those who dare to destroy the order and peace of Valhalla. He then proceeds to become the new king of dragons, swear to protect the honour of his race forever. He is named Ao Shin.
