Hey there, I'm going to try and give you that critique you wanted. I'm not the best comic artist but I do know a little about composition so that's what I'll be dealing with mostly or entirely.
Let's begin by saying your composition, while far from terrible, does mislead us a little.  The two buildings in the foreground work as a bit of a telescope ( I'm not sure what the proper term is so plz bear with me) focusing our attention on the well and village scene transpiring around it, making us think this is what's important about the scene. This would be fine except you kind leave us there, we have no strong sense of motion to finish carrying us through the picture to the main characters (I'm assuming they're the blokes talking in the top left). There are two ways to fix this (at least that I can think off on the fly). The first is to remove the telescope effect which boils down to shuffling the buildings a little. My suggestion is that you take the building in the bottom left  and shift it down a little, working things so that it's rafter bar (once again I'm almost certain I'm using the incorrect term, sorry) points directly at the second building which is fantastically placed because it already points toward the third building. From there you can probably leave it as is, though you might want to add some small detail to help move our gazes from the third building to that curving stair case.
The second method I can think off, is where you add a couple more workers carrying bags and have them marching down the curving road a little. If done properly, this flow of motion should help carry us out of the well area and up to the curving staircase.
I'm afraid that's all I got for you except some minor difficulties that you could probably ignore.  The first one is that chimney on the bottom left building, I may be wrong but it feels like its inching a little too far to the right. The second thing is a small continuation error. In the first panel they're walking up some curving stairs toward that building, in the next they're walking across a bridge that wasn't in the earlier panel and there's nothing to suggest a time skip since their conversation continues right where it left off.  Like I said above, I don't know much about comics so this might just be one of those things people are allowed get away with. If so, just ignore me.
I hope this helps and if not that's because I'm being abducted by space iguanas.
May you find luck and fair fortune at every turn.

Thanks! I appreciate the critique. All good points, I was trying to showcase a little of the city instead of just drawing the characters. It could definitely have been done better though. A more central location or Golden Ratio location for the main characters would be much better and I'll try to keep that in mind in the future
