I hope to participate in Poke-fanclub's upcoming tournament as it sounds really great. Here's my reference, nothing too serious about the art here. I chose wartortle because I love drawing fluff cloudy things, and wartortle is a seriously cool middle evolution.

Nature: Brave

Special / Unique Traits: Her wartortle ears / tail has 'mutated properties'; they are unusually long for a young wartortle, and they tend to shrink / expand dependant on her mood and situation

Moveset:
-> Aqua Tail (water, Physical, 80dmg, 10pp)
-> Rain Dance (water, Special, N/A, 5pp)
-> Ice Punch (Ice, Physical, 75dmg, 15pp)
-> Zen Headbutt (Psychic, Physical, 80dmg, 15pp)

Held Item: Damp Rock (increases duration of rain dance)

History: Aoi is a wild wartortle whom is determined to prove a point to her fellow squirtle, wartortle, and blastoise herd that she is more than what they think of her.
Once living in a secluded lakeside alongside other pokemon of her kind, Aoi was a normal Squirtle whom was popular and had a fairly normal life. However, once she evolved
into her wartortle state, things changed drastically for young Aoi; features of herself were abnormal, different, and perceived as dangerous and infectious by her peers.
Dropping from being the well-liked home girl, her once trusting and easy-going nature was shut off and iced over, only her brave nature keeping her head up high amist rumour and fear.
She left her clan members to prove that her features were
not a sign of defection, but rather of empowerment.

Events leading up to Poke'venture round 1: On her journey, she is reluctant to venture in human populated areas, however her tail and ears begin to quiver and vibrate, causing her severe discomfort. Plucking up her courage, she makes the decision to investigate the presence
coming from Celadon city, despite the overwhelming risk that she may be challenged and threatened by capture from human trainers...

Personality: Aoi has a lone wolf personality; she is not a leader, and refuses to be lead. She keeps her thoughts and tactics to herself, and has the utmost confidence and belief in her abilities. This self-motivation is not based on arrogance.
Wary of other pokemon due to her treatment back home, and petrified of humans (due to her wild pokemon status),
Aoi has no time, nor the heart, to make friends. Other pokemon she meets are an ends to a mean, it takes something special to break her resolve on this matter. When challenged beyond her abilities, Aoi gives it her all, as if her very existence is on the line.
