The last moments of Lance Corporal Vincent Romero before dying in face of adversity. He knew well that he will end up in a body bag. But Lance Corporal Romero held the line to let 54 of his remaining team mates leave the facility, living him to face the utter atrocity of death. But fear never get in his nerves. Rather he just worry for his son and wife back home. He might not come back. But his valor and utter defiance of great adversity earned him respect from his comrades.
His prayer is remembered as the "Vow of Credence":
In the face of death
My end be near
God bear me
And hold me dear
I clench thy vow
To never kneel
I aim my gun
so guide me here
For a roll of outcry
I do so pray
That the dead shall lay
And my comrades freed
And the face of adversity
I shall never scream
I shall face it
With my will unscathed
