Description
sooo here is a tutorial you've been asking forAnyway, haha,it looks like "drawing for dummies" ahaha XDD sorry about that.
There are just quite a lot of people(I guess) who has never used SAI or whatever else so I decided to make it quite clear.Because I remember myself staring at all those buttons, haha
I said I am not very good in it,but it took quite a lot of time so I would be really appreciate if you could comment
and anyway,hope it helped
EDIT:it seem like quite a lot of people(my mother included) said it was better without texture thing. It seems like it true this time, but I tried to make a tutorial like I do always draw a picture,so..haha,but you're right though XD
EDIT 2: ~TweedPawn 11 hours ago
LAWWWLLLL I totally thought this said "Princess Tutorial" But it is still very nice even though it has nothing to do with princesses.
ahahahahahahah oh my god ahahahahahahaah XDDDD

is paint tool sai free to download? I have photoshop but I think I want to give Sai a try because the blending looks much more natural

There's a free trial for it, but after that you have to purchase it. :c

Oh wow. o_o Me too! I know Photoshop can get ridiculously expensive, but for sai...that'd be silly.

I did some more searching and I'm pretty sure its 68 dollars, so that isn't too bad...
I just have Photoshop elemets; I hate how the other versions are like 2000 dollars o_o

Oh good. o.o
Yeah, I've used that before. D: But then again, just as you don't need a super-shiny $400-pencil to sketch a beautiful portrait, you don't need a $2k-program to digitally manifest a gorgeous piece of art either. ^^

This is really nice! I've never heard of this SAI program, I usually use photoshop, but I suppose it's not that different, is it? Or do you know something in this program you use that is really cool and photoshop doesn't have? Well, anyway, thanks for the tutorial! I love your way of coloring!

Oh so you use SAI that's a paint program right? Is it free or do you have to pay for it? Cause it looks really useful for drawing! Is it easy or hard at first? If it's hard then you really got quite the skill girl!

um well,I got in for free in my country, but I know people have troubles with finding it for free in yours.
and don't know,it's just much more easy comparing to photoshop.

That's cool I use a paint program that's similar to photoshop, but a whole lot easier to mess with. It's called the Sumo Paint Online Image Editor. It's free on Sumopaint.com I'm not really good at drawing on the computer period, but I'm getting a little bit better. I think the only problem is that I'm still not use to drawing on a mouse pad lol!

Ugh,I just play around with mine. There is a setting for darker, along with soft light, saturation, stuff like that.

I found if you make a new layer over what you want to shade, put your brush colour to black and set it as overlay, and then make the layer soft light that did the shading.

Nice tutorial! Love the texture idea. I know there are various methods when it come to the sketch portion but...
Curious though if you scan in a starting sketch first? Is it better to ink over it to make a new sketch layer, or can you make the scan a (re)moveable line layer easily?

I like your tutorial much better than some other ones. You actually write out the words instead of using a text-font. It's very personal- and pretty.
