Some slightly different Pokemon variations! Rather than having wildly differing anatomy, Umbreon’s markings change to reflect the other parent’sI also got kind of lazy and just drew one Umbreon pose, copied it a bunch of times and gave it some different markings and slightly different coat colours but shhhhhh at least it's consistent

I like how the base coat color doesn't stay that inky midnight black, depending on the parentage. I love these, wish they were real XD

No problem! I think I noticed the most on the Arcanine and Furret variations. I also love the level of red in the eye intensifies too! You did a fantastic job making them unique.

Are you taking some inspiration from Jurassic World Evolution? Because in the game, there's this mechanic where you can alter the Dinosaurs color and pattern by inputting genes from other Animals. (For example, the Baryonyx Jungle Pattern is because they input Poison Dart Frog Genomes)

I've never heard of that game, but the concept sounds interesting. I drew this back in 2015 when pokemon variations were spreading like wildfire, and I wanted to try a different kind of variation with just markings!

I like all of these! I agree with you on consistency being the redeeming quality. Though I don't think using the same pose was any sort of laziness either. Umbreon is simple and stealthy, it doesn't need much more differences than the ones you gave them.
Also, the Tiger one is my favorite. The diamond shape on it's head just looks so aesthetically pleasing!

Can someone explain why these along with fused Pokemon are never considered for the games whatsoever (with some exceptions, at least)???

Honestly it would take a lot of extra work for the devs to create what are essentially "skins" for 800+ currently existing Pokemon species; and since Pokemon isn't a f2p style game where fans and/or dedicated devs can continually create and submit content like skins, it wouldn't be feasible both time-wise and financially.
At least we still have fanart where stuff like variations can happen c:

It would payoff, man i would spend the fortune necessary to buy a switch and the game with a smile, besides it would be only alteration of the pokemon skin, and don't even need to be the 800+ only the ones that it would make sense.
