I have kind of an idea about them but it's kind of gross so uve been warned
anyways
I'm thinking that this little thing is about the size of a large horse, but lives in a world fulled with reptile-like creatures that are (for the most part) bigger than it. Because of it's narrow and long body shape, it can easily slip into small crevices and such. Which makes the next part a bit easier. Parasite will wait in ambush for a much larger, female reptilian creature to stroll on by where it will then proceed to wriggle into the uterus and either eat the unborn, remain there for days to seek shelter from bad conditions, or give birth to it's pups where they will stay for the next year or so of their lives until they're mature enough to wriggle out and be on their own. Parasite will also sometimes eat victims from the inside out when food is scarce and far in between. It's obviously carnivorous.
Wiggly neck arms have retractable 'teeth' that are curved backwards so it can grab onto prey and the more it struggles to get away, the deeper the teeth sink.
