Well I know the answer "a gladiator"
But, wich kind ? cause it looks like a Murmillo, but i'm not sure, because of the helmet, wich look like much more... A Thraex.
The picture is great, but well, many little things are disturbing : no gloves (we have to wear some for gladiator fight) the scales made of leather, well it's a choice... but most of them are in metal, for what I know. and the shoulder part ad starp can be enhanced for a better use, also the blade have to be shorter ^^
But well, quite a good work ^^ just to bad for the historical related things ^^

I've been in love with your photos since I first stumbled upon them. Not just because of some of the emotion up can capture, or the fact you keep them "rough", or the subject matter (though lets face... I really like your subject matter!). I am greatful to you for providing pieces that help me study muscle anatomy. This piece just had my brain melt because I've been trying to piece together a decent murmillo for one of my side projects for a while now. I have to give kudos to you for the well thought out costuming.
