Description
In ancient Egypt and in classical antiquity, a fabulous bird associated with the worship of the sun.The Egyptian phoenix was said to be as large as an eagle, with brilliant scarlet and gold plumage and a melodious cry. Only one phoenix existed at a time, and it lived no less than 500 years. As its end approached, it built a nest of aromatic boughs and spices, set it on fire, and was consumed in the flames. From the pyre was born a new phoenix, which sealed its predecessor's ashes in an egg of myrrh and flew to Heliopolis to deposit them on the altar of the sun god. The phoenix thus symbolized immortality.

hm.... this is very lovely done but the information is a little odd to me o.O;;;;
well maybe it's b/c i've always known teh phoenix in chinese legend where it lives forever even till now, but is only to show itself to ones with the truest of hearts. But i never knew there was an egyptian phoenix? o.O;;; that's something to look up. B/c i always thought Horus was the sun god/whatever lol.
and another thing that bothers me is..... how the hell did you do that whole friggin thing on Photoshop o.o; I make stars on PS and it turns out to be kid stars and stuff like that lol.

Yeah I was tryin to find the right phoenix that I know and it turned out to be an egyptian god like creature
but the real god(to egyptians) of the sun was Ra.
Closest I could remember from the Phoenix I know was something that went like "...out from the ashes anew phoeninx is born..." or something like that...but its been so long sence I heard it that I cant fully remember how it went
