It was my mothers birthday on Monday and I have been trying to stear clear of store bough cards for her for a few years now. Although I usually leave it till the last minute and have to settle with a collage, I made the effort (and having a few days off helped although it's now Tuesday!) to finally do a inked card. I also usually don't keep pictures of cards I have made, But something like this I would like to keep track of, so that the bar may forever be raised.I have always designed cards with Arab horses for her, because she used to sketch so many of them when I was very young. And i have some very clear memories of finding them and 'finishing' off some of her drawings.
She never did keep them.
So to mum. Where it all began...
