When the rangers were defeated by one of Crylock's general, Gennai sends them off world to uncover a new power. A new form.Each of them faced a challenge to prove if they were worthy enough to obtain this new power.
Once finished with their challenges their morphers began to glow brighter than ever. When the glow vanished they were in their new ultimate form.
