People haven't been too interested in the progress of this costume... Maybe that'll change later... DXHere are the finger blades and the arm blade taped on my arm... I finished covering all the papier mached blades with gesso, so I felt like playing with them a little. I think they look fine, just the other side of the arm blade will be fixed a little...
I'll finish this costume during this spring. I'll have an awesome 3-month break from school, and then summer holidays in a day! The con is in the first days of July.

The character whose costume I'm making now is Masane Amaha's Witchblade form from the Witchblade anime.

I always wondered if someone would attempt to cosplay Masane, I'm actually going to Anime Expo this year so I'll be the only girl shrieking in glee if I do see a Masane, she's such a great character. Sorry you haven't gotten much interest yet but...like you said I'm sure depending on if you're going as TV or DVD Masane you'll get LOTS more attention. GREAT job on the arm and nail blades!

Thank you so much! I'll actually have both versions, but I'll wear the 'censored' version to cons to be more modest... XD But I can wear the costume without the black bodysuit, as well. My boyfriend doesn't like the idea of me even having a photoshoot of the uncensored version, so I think I'll have photos of only the censored one. XD

That would probably be best, I actually thought Masane looked more badass in her bodysuit version...the uncensored version is very distracting to some viewers

MasaneΒ΄s costume is definetely a cosplay noghtmare, but still you manage to pull all these crazy parts...

Hehehe... You know that all the blades, specially the finger blades, are so sharp I can easily make scratches in my skin with them? XD I love them already.
