This was drawn partially out of a desire for Yang and Mercury to clash when/if he and Emerald defect from Cinder and join the merry band of heroes, but partially because rwby, those outfits are not good for snow, they are going to be freezing, so I decided to have them fight on a frigid winter night and get very, very cold.
