Description
"War Among Thieves" is set a year and a half after the events of "Thieves in Time" when Sly is left behind after the fight against le Paradox.
Throughout the 18 months,his fight against Le Paradox had become a widespread news throughout the social media - Sly's selfless act has inspired those who want to protect what's theirs. "The Cooper Legacy Revolution" - Carmelita received a call of a theft act on a wealthy archeologist,whereas she discovers that the thieves movements and skills resemble of Sly Cooper.
Then comes in the news to the government of France,now planning on how to deescalate between the wealthy and the thieves : that's where an unknown assassin comes in to plan a cooperation with the Mayor...the Thief Slayer.
A worthy foe who seems to have a grudge against Sly Cooper,now brings in an army of highly advanced weapons and armory,in securing the peace of the city of France.
With Carmelita Montoya Fox out of the job from Interpol,she now rejoices with the Revolution in order to stop the Thief Slayer. But all is not the same if without a certain ring tailed thief by her side,losing her job and too many of the other allied thieves not able to soothe her thoughts,by her side.
Now with Sly Cooper back from the unknown,things will start to get interesting...

The story is amazing and the picture is drawn beautifully, but I do have one question: Is that Sly's grave Carmelita's sitting on or just that of someone she lost while Sly was away/missing? And if it is Sly's grave is it one that Carmelita made because she believes Sly to be dead or because he is dead and the Sly behind her is his spirit wanting to hold her but knowing he can't because he is but a ghost?

It's a memorial statue the group made in his honor. Carmelita planted the roses for him. He's not dead, Β he just found a way back from Egypt to present time and found Carmelita crying over the memorial; so he started crying > w<

Sanzaru, the fact the guy who thought this up does NOT write the Cooper plot IS A MASSIVE FREAKING SIN AGAINST THE FRANCHISE.

I'm sure the ending would've been better if Sony would stop bugging the developers about this.
Plus,they did the same thing with "The Amazing Spider-man 2" when they wanted to start on the Sinister Six movie.
This story is my way of saying that whatever should've been developed is to be catched up with in this one

Sanzaru is NOT responsible for the way the game ended. The publisher, Sony, is solely responsible for that. Sanzaru was only there to develop the game, and even the developers actually questioned Sony's choice of ending.

Even more reason for developers to switch over to Kickstarter.Β It seems like Publishers are using developers as a scapegoat if that's the case.Β They can control the game and if anything sucks, people will immediately blame the developer until they learn otherwise.
SO GLAD that Rare is being revived through Kickstarter.

This...this is beautiful. Poignant, heartfelt, and bittersweet...everything that Thieves in Time SHOULD have given us in its ending.
As always, your Sly x Carmelita fanart is among the best I've seen, and it lends some warmth to my mind when it becomes troubled and cannot see hope. For you to have come up with a pic for this series suggests that it has a lot of merit--I'll have to look it up sometime.
