Description
It was early in the morning and Kanji woke up next to Blossom who was snoring loudly. This was usual and Kanji paid no mind. He sat up and yawned deeply. Kanji stretched and a smile grew on his face, it was time to start the day. He got out of bed and saw that blossom was still fast asleep. Kanji decided it was best not to wake her and he could open the shop himself, plus the morning was never truly busy for the shop anyway. Kanji got out his apron and he walked out to the shop portion of the building. He hummed as he walked around and inspected each plant, as he slowly made his way over to the front counter. He finally made it there and started to count out the cash and make sure the balance was correct. After he finished he moved to open the door. He unlocked it and his humming continued.

Soon he went to each plant to feed them properly, all the flowers needed to stay healthy, he pruned some of the ones that weren't going to be on sale for a while. After a while Kanji's ears picked up the sound of a customer entering the front door. The bell rang and Kanji quickly came forward to greet the customer, low and behold, it was his mother.

"Mom! Hey how is it going? You looking to get some flowers? Or just here to visit?" Kanji said excitedly.

Spider sighed, already exhausted by his over active nature, "Kanji I came here to talk with you. Alone."

Spider's eyes scanned the room and fixated on the gro walking out. It was Blossom and she rubbed her eyes with a small cooing noise. Kanji's eyes met with Spiders, they were obviously concerned.

"What do you need to talk about mama?" Kanji let out with a bit of a worried tone.

"Kanji you know I want to talk about that thing in your room. Why are you hanging out with a wild gro and letting that feral thing in your shop, I thought I raised you better." She huffed out.

Kanji froze up and looked at Blossom who looked upset and embarrassed. Kanji was conflicted on what to do. He thought over what would be the best way to respond, he didn't like Spider talking about Blossom that way, but also didn't want his mom to be angry with him.

"Mom can we talk about this outside? Please?" Kanji said nervously.

"Fine, I don't see why not." Spider spat then walked out as Kanji followed closely after.

Blossom followed cautiously, trying not to be seen.
They both walked out behind the shop in the more wooded area making it to a red tree. Kanji held his arm and Spider's eyes narrowed.

"I'm going to lay this down nice and thick. You need to own up to your mistake. Kanji you can't be with this gro, She is literally wild, how do you know one day she won't hurt you or anyone else for that matter? You think you can run a business with that kind of gro in there? Working there? She's a wild beast who can barely talk-"

Kanji cut her off, his glands beginning to glow a yellow and his voice getting way louder.
"Stop it mom! You don't even know her! Stop acting like you do! Why do you want to come into my life again now?! It's been months since you even came to see me! And you come to tell me how I should chose who I love?!"

Kanji grit his teeth, he had never yelled at his mom before but he needed to defend Blossom, he needed to defend her place in his life.

Spider's glands began to glow as her voice raised as well,
"You are trying to talk back to me young man?!"
