This is the first piece of what I'd term "real" art I've managed to complete in over a year. It's been a long time and a hard time.
Hello again, if you're still here. And thank you to all who have watched me, supported me, left messages since I've been gone. I'm so grateful.

The woods in this picture are real, and near where I live. They're up on the hills behind behind the hospital. I went walking there very early one morning, when the sun had only just come up. There was just me, and the trail of mud stretching on for what felt like forever, and the trees. The soil up there is surprisingly dark.

Watercolour paint on hot-pressed satin grain watercolour paper, loads of Faber and Prisma pencil detailing, a little bit of ink. The cat-rabbit-jackalope thing is one of my characters. It doesn't really have a name. I call it Luka.
