Treehouse of Horror used to be just stories made up by Bart and Lisa in the treehouse, BUT it eventually dropped all framing and ran wild with variant ideas on the canon theme, oft with drastic results.

Now that's a proper use for a teleporter! None of this foolish stepping to-and-from silly impractical spacecraft onto dreadfully similar planets.
I love the lab equipment, the mice (they are rats, aren't they?), and the curtains blowing in the breeze. The lighting and composition are both spectacular... and the portrait behind him just tickles my fancy (I don't know why).
