Guide to the Vanthian/Annwn Elements:

The elements of both Vanthias and Annwn are the concentrated aspects of the planet itself, with each aspect reflecting in the form of the ability to manipulate a certain natural energy found within the worlds. These elements gave both the Othreiil and the Aitherion not only an advantage in battle, but to allow them to harness these natural energies to create tech that would otherwise not exist without its aid.

Each of the 13 elements are named after each of the 13 Elemental guardians that were created by the Vanthian deities to eradicate the Skadyth, the following being

Ignos, the Blazing Fires
The embodiment of the wild, ever restless fires, Ignos represents cleansing and rebirth, as fires can be reignited if they are to be snuffed out, and has the power to cleanse the landscape of dead or dying vegetation.

Aquaros, the Flowing Waters
As steady as a stream, or as wild as the storming oceans, Aquaros is the representation of healing and change in the vanthian tongue, for water not only heals the body, but can change the landscape through its steady flow.

Terron, the Solid Earth
Whether it is the steady, unshifting mountains, or the calm earthen soil, or the plants firmly rooted in it. Terron represents the unshifting and unbudging stability that it provides to the world, forming unbreakable barriers or for a steady ground to rest

Aeris, the Shifting Winds
The winds are a very fickle thing, from a gentle breeze to a destructive gale, the winds are the forces of change, representing instability as well as hope, for the winds can bring upon positive change as well as the negative.

Lumys, the Life giving Light
Lumys is the all encompassing representation of life on Vanthias as well as creation, for all life on Vanthias depends on the light of the sun not only to see, but to live as well.

Noctum, the Cloaking Darkness
Even though it is mostly seen as an embodiment of death and hidden things, Noctum is also the representation of balance, counterbalancing the element of Lumys to ensure there is equilibrium in the world.

Psychen, the Sightful Mind
The mind is a very powerful thing, from the creation of thoughts and ideas, to the expression of feelings and emotions. Psychen represents the ability to see into the mind, into the thoughts, feelings, and ideas into the individual and very much to see into the future itself.

Crystallis, the Soulful Crystal
The beauty and clarity of the crystals are the representation of harmony within the soul of a Vanthian as well as the soul itself. To be able to read through people and understand their intentions through the ability to manipulate the element of Crystallis.

Electrya, the Evergoing Electricity
In every aspect of Electricity, from the crackling lightning to the electric flowing through our technology. Electrya represents power and advancement, as with the flow of electricity, comes with the advantage of powering all machines as well as to innovate the creation of more advanced technology.

Miasmos, the Toxic Poison
Poison is a destructive thing, from being a literal thing that can kill, or toxicity that spreads through the mind. However, Miasmos is also sympolic of endurance, and of survival. To survive a poison or handling poison, it is seen as a great strength and can give those who do a great enduring existence.

Metallys, the Honorable Metal
The shining metal on a sword, apiece of armor, or a metal item. Metallys is the representation of both Honor and Unyielding patience, for wielders of Metallys are unyielding in both their loyalty and their strength, all the while keeping an honorable stance in a fight to the bitter end.

Glacius, the Frozen Ice
With the coming of the freezing ice, it is a symbol of absence, of frugality amongst Vanthians. All wielders of Glacius have to have a compleye absence of fear and rationality, if they are able to endure the harsh cold of their element.

Alacrys, the All Encompassing Energyforce
The backbone of every living thing and the world core tself. Alacrys is the representation of the existence of energy, more than electricity itself. It is the representation of the world and it is said that those who wield Alacrys, are amongst the strongest of all, asides from the ancient elementals.
