Description
I know this is bad and short, but I was bored, and started to write whatever came to mind. The ending is rushed, because I couldn't figure out what else to write. Sorry! >_<"Kaneki-kun~"
His smile, always so sweet, and innocent; his chocolate eyes, always so warm and kind. He was someone she loved so dearly.
-
"K-Kaneki-kun..."
His pale locks, his ashen orbs, his stoic expression. Nothing was reminiscent of the guy she harbored deep affections for.
"I'm sorry. I can't stay. Goodbye, _________."
Why was life so cruel? She didn't see him in months, and when he finally shows up once more, it is only to depart again?
Was she to be left alone, with only her memories of her boyfriend, until he returned? What if he never came back?
Something in her dropped as the boy walked off, white strands moving with him. What would she do without him?
-
"Ka...ne...ki...kun?"
The words were barely audible, as they slipped from her mouth, only to reach no one's ears, but her own.
A stranger who looked very much like the aforementioned male stood in the cafe that she worked at. It had been three years since they parted, and she knew there was no way it could be him, but the resemblance was uncanny.
It was her job to serve him, no matter how much it hurt to see the strange man who was similar to her beloved, so that is what she did, albeit awkwardly, with a smile that did nothing to hide the confusion and pain in her dull eyes,
Sasaki Haise...
That was the name he presented her with when asked. One part of her hoped she would never see him after that day, and another part longed to be with someone who had so many qualities reminiscent of Kaneki.
Before he left, he joked with her briefly, and left a number to call him with. She wondered if she ever would.
Only time would tell.
