I made this piece of Halloween art from an excellent tutorial by 3D Tudor (find it here: www.artstation.com/a/25004316 ), for only $9.99, led by a great instructor named Neil. I took on this tutorial to learn Blender, (blender.org) a popular 3D program that's used in many animations and film projects that I'm sure many of you have seen but never knew how they were made. Best of all, Blender is free. I completed all 96 segments, although mine didn't come out exactly as the tutorials. For one, I couldn't render it out using Cycles, the render engine used in the tutorial. I felt my 14-year-old computer just wasn't up for the task. Leaving me to render it out in EEVEE, the native render engine in Blender, so it's not as good as I would've liked. Which means I couldn't get that eerie fog effect that happens when using Cycles. Also, I couldn't get the clouds in the sky using an alpha plane to work either, however, I will continue to work on it. But I think I still did a pretty good job. You can see how it's supposed to look by using the first link. Try the tutorial yourself and see how you do, and if you like it give a shout-out to Neil on his Patreon page found here: (www.youtube.com/redirect?event… ).
