Entity 3312: Headless Runner
Nobody knows exactly how these are created. The metal wires protruding from the top of their neck suggest the influence of some sort of a powerful spirit, the Library hasn't been able to tell which one would be able to bring such an abomination to life, though.
Any living creature can become a Headless Runner, though deer type seems to be the most common variation.
Inhabiting abandoned roads, these creatures, despite their lack of eyes seem to be attracted to light - individuals travelling in cars or other similar vehicles should remember to keep any source of light dim, so the Runners won't be able to locate them.
The Runner, after locating the light source, will target it, trying to run straight into it at any cost. This particular behaviour can be quite dangerous, many reports of humans being severely wounded by the metal parts of Runner's body have been submitted to the database.
It is unknown if the Runners are eating, and if yes - how.
