Description
Here's a story about Shifter when things suddenly changed.

Shifter: *Sighs sitting on the rooftops feeling down and lonely all of time which he finds there's nothing to do in town.* Shifter: "Man... No crime going on and I've always been watching over the city without revealing my true identity, of course. But, there's got to be something out there." He shifts into a falcon and flies off to check out the titans tower to only find the teen titans relaxing in their rooms. Shifter: "Hey guys!" But they never took any notice of him. He felt down and flew off to the hive to see his friend Jinx, but she wasn't in her room at all and nobody was here. Shifter felt disappointed. He headed off back to the city and searched everywhere, but no one took any noticed of him and there was no crime going on and that made him very upset. Shifter: "Okay... I'll say this.... WHY IS EVERYBODY NOT NOTICING ME and most importantly.... WHERE EVERYBODY?!" But all there is just some quietness and birds chirping. Shifter: "Doesn't.... doesn't everyone like me anymore...?" He feels awful and went to the park. A few hours later, Shifter began smashing up playgrounds and benches and burns down trees. Shifter: "No one cares about me, do they?" He suddenly gets hit by a bottle and looks at it. He breaks it open and reads a note in it. Note: "It is true that nobody likes you anymore, it's best for you to let loose like what you're doing just now and destroy everything in sight." Shifter drops the note and eye twitches feelings heart beating faster and then growls in anger. But didn't see a mysterious figure walked away within the shadows. Shifter: "I'll show them... I'LL SHOW THEM ALL!!!" He began to morphing and shifting out of controllably. He roars in rage destroying everything in sight heading back to the hive. He climbed up and peeked into Jinx's room window and sees her. Jinx was brushing her hair when she noticed his eye through the mirror and she turned around only to find herself too late to react as a giant hand grabs Jinx. She struggled with her life then only to realize who was holding her. It was Shifter as an uncontrollable shifting monster. Jinx: "Shifter?!" He marches into the sea and heads into the city. Jinx screams as she gets kidnapped by Shifter losing control of himself. Everyone in the city screams and panics running from Shifter as he rampages the city. Shifter roars loudly in rage. Jinx struggles trying to get free from his giant hand. Raven, Starfire and Blackfire flew into the city to see who's causing trouble in the city. Starfire: "Shifter?!" Blackfire: "Let him damage the city, it's not my problem..." Raven: *Growls* "Oh you will help." Blackfire: "Ugh... fine, just this once, okay?" Jinx: "Put me down this instant, or I'll... I'll..." She was scared not to hurt his feelings, but he looks angry. He just roared loudly at her face ruining her hair. Jinx: "How rude..." Starfire: "We're coming!" Rose: "Don't think you're gonna take on that beast alone, right ladies?" Jayna: "You can count on me, Shape of Hawk!" Jayna transforms into a Hawk and flies up in the air. Bumblebee: "I can help out!" Terra: "If it means to stop our friend then so be it!" Raven: "Alright, let's do it!" Jinx: "Careful, girls! We just need to take him down, not kill him." After a long fight, none of their attacks didn't take him down and they were outmatched by his strength and size as he took them down as he climb up the tallest tower and roars in triumphant. Jinx: "Oh be quiet! You got nothing to be proud of Shifter!" Shifter: "Rooaauuggh..." Jinx: "Kidnapping me, Terrorize the city and use me as a weapon against our friends, why are you doing this?!" Shifter: "You all don't truly love me anymore, I wanted to have a good time with my friends, but... no one.... NO TRULY CARES AND LOVES ME ANYMORE!!!" Jinx: "That's not true!" Shifter: "Oh yeah, well read this!" He shows note that he just read and she began reading it and suddenly understood why. Jinx: "S-Shifter... that note was nothing but a lie. Someone must've used you to only lose control only to destroy the city and hurt our friends. I'm sorry you didn't have a good day this morning, but you just need to understand that you don't have to react and destroy everything in sight just to get some attention. You could've just give us a call." Shifter was puzzled. Jinx then calls on her phone and shifter's phone rang making Shifter realize it. Jinx: "It's simple and shifter, I know you're afraid and scared to be alone, but we're not going anywhere." She put her hand on his face. Jinx: "Shifter, even as a monster... we still love you." She said as she kisses him on the cheek. Shifter's eyes widens hearing Jinx's words and gets flashbacks. His eyes then waters in sorrowness remember the first time we've met. He shakes his head and looks around feeling a bit dizzy then suddenly lets go of Jinx and changes back to normal passing out as they both began falling off the building. Shifter's eyes opens and realizes we're both falling and reaches for Jinx. Shifter: "Jinx, I just want to tell you something just in case we don't make it!" He tried to use his powers on flying with wings, but wings couldn't flap as they are falling too fast. Shifter: "Well I... I just have a crush-" Jinx covers his mouth and smiles at him. They then hugged each other. Starfire and Blackfire then catches them both and brings back to the ground safely. Shifter: "Girls, I'm sorry... I'm so sorry..." Raven: "Don't be... it's over now. Let's go somewhere nice and quiet. So we can have a talk." Later at the park... Shifter: "I can't believe how stupid I was on believing in that note..." Raven: "Hey, it's okay. We all know it was a misunderstanding. Starfire: "Raven's correct, you don't have to feel bad for yourself after that mistake." Shifter: *Sprouts out wings and covers myself* "No, please... I'm just dangerous and... destructive to the city and stuff..." Blackfire: "We understand what you mean." Shifter: "Never mind that, it's stupid." Jinx: "When we first met, I thought of you as a threat to all villains, but... you just needed sometime to learn how to control your powers, that's why I went easy on you." Shifter: "Well... before we met, things were... very scary for me because people were not here to make things more fun... somehow. I kind a forget what it was like." Raven: "We all had that feel too." Starfire: "That's why we must stick together as friends. And it looks like... you still need a home, don't you?" Shifter: ".... Yeah..." Jinx: "Then we'll help you get you a new home together." Shifter looks at them and smiles. Shifter: "It means a lot to me, thank you all."

Jinx: "Then we'll help you get you a new home together." Shifter looks at them and smiles. Shifter: "It means a lot to me, thank you all."
