Volt: "You will see Chaos Council, I'll make you understand... You will find that I'm the one that holds the key to the future!!"

Sonic had joined the rebellion and manages to find Volt.

Sonic: "That's enough, You've really caused our rebellion a lot of trouble, Volt..." Volt: "Yeah, I was just taking care of a few loose ends." Sonic: "Wait... So, you are not on Eggman's side?! You are not friends with him?" Volt: "Friends, I don't have any. Not now... not ever. But I know one thing for sure, Sonic... You are my enemy!" Sonic: "Then this is as far you will go, Volt!"

However, after the fight...

Sonic: "AUUUGH!!" He falls to his knees in pain struggling to get up. Volt: "Sonic. I'll admit, you have grown stronger, but you'll hardly change the world if you're dead." Then he starts kicking sonic strongly in the face beating him down. Volt: "What's the matter, Hedgehog? Are you gonna show me your true power? Haa!!" He grinned as he kept stomping on his head. He kicks Sonic. Volt: "Wimp tot he very end, huh? Once I'm done with you, I'll go after the Chaos Council next. End of the line, Sonic!" His robotic arm turns into a arm cannon. Knux: *then grabs his arms holding him strongly* Volt: "Huh- AUUGH Ergh...!!! Knux!! What do you think you're doing? Let go!!" Rebel (Rouge) flies down. Rebel: "To change the world, sounds like evil talk to me!" Volt: "WHY YOU...!!" Knux: "NOW!!" Sonic charges up a spin dash even without his gear as he glows brightly. Volt: "A powerful charge attack?!" Knux lets go of him and gets out of the way as Sonic impales Volt strongly leaving a hole in his chest. Volt: "Auuuuuugggghh!!!!"

A while later, he woke up in the room where he saw Rusty Rose.

Volt: "R-Rus...ty..." Then the lights turns on and the Chaos Council was sitting in their chairs looking at him while he's restrained. "I thought Sonic's... But I still don't understand... Wh-What's so special about him...?" Mr. Dr. Eggman: "What exactly were you planning to do, Volt? Would you stand before us as a rebellion, kneel at my feet and place yourself at my mercy?" Volt: "What did I plan to do...? Hahaha... ahahaha... Thinking about it now, I'm not actually sure..." Mr. Dr. Eggman: "Begin operation robotization for judgement." Rusty Rose: "Yes sir." She begins the operation. "This will hurt... painfully." Volt: "It's fine... I don't care what happens to this world... By defeating Sonic, I validated my own existence... And that's all that matters to me now. My name... is Volt...! And I.... I..." *gets put to sleep by the operation before he could finish while they began turning him completely into a robot just like Rusty.*
